While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I found behind its entrance was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of uncleaned spills and filthy restrooms suffused the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and a sickly smell. The counter , which should be the focal point of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and litter that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape —overflowing , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was feces.

Going through other patrons’ reviews and conversing with residents , it seems that the quality of upkeep (or lack thereof) at this so-called establishment is a recurring complaint. Many customers have reported seeing bugs darting across the bar area and proof of vermin in the adjoining rooms.
